0 Summer fever!

Morgunstund með heitu kamillu te og nýjum blöðum, það er ekki hægt að kvarta.

Ég er mjög heilluð af látlausri förðun fyrir maí mánuð. Ég keypti mér fallegan húðlitaðan varalit í MAC um daginn sem heitir Pure Zen. Mér finnst hann passa bæði við fín tækifæri sem og hversdagsförðun. Auk þess keypti ég mér húðlitað naglalakk frá OPI (Samoan Sand) sem ég er mjög hrifin af. Nú er það bara að minnka augnblýantinn, setja fallegan ljósan augnskugga á sig og bleikan kynnalit. Einnig mæli ég með Pearl frost cream color base frá MAC til að ná fallegum gljáa og ýkja andlitsdrættina, það er klárlega punkturinn yfir i-ið.

I'm very fascinated by effortless makeup for the month of may. Recently I bought a nude lipstick from MAC called Pure Zen. I think it fits with every occasion. I also bought myself some nude nail-polish from OPI (Samoan Sand) which I'm very fond of. Now it's time to decrease the eyeliner, put up some light eyeshadows and pink blush. I also recommend Pearl frost cream color base from MAC to get some nice highlight.

0 Beautiful home

Most of us love to peak into a beautiful home and see how people choose and arrange things around their house in differently. We are curious and love to have some new ideas on how to make your home a better one in many sorts of ways.

This home, from the Magazine La Maison, I find to be very casual and comfy but yet very beautiful and stylish. In my opinion the white "cold" furnitures and the warm brown teak are in perfect balance.

The color's chosen are also very neat and the light green chair is my favorite one.

2 Cozy garden in Reykjavík

We where invited to a cozy garden in Reykjavík. The lady of the house has planted lovely tulips in pink and yellow and some cherry blossom tree. The family enjoys gathering around for a brunch on the porch.

0 Before and After

When I was little I used to play in this cute hut beside my parents summerhouse. For many years it have been used as a storage because there were no children to play in it. Now time has changed with our own children so me and my siblings decided to fresh it up a little bit. I bought a cute stove, some kitchen stuff and chairs in a recycle store called Góði Hirðirinn and these little things did a whole lot.
Next step will be to fix the garden and paint the house on the outside.
