0 Before and After
When I was little I used to play in this cute hut beside my parents summerhouse. For many years it have been used as a storage because there were no children to play in it. Now time has changed with our own children so me and my siblings decided to fresh it up a little bit. I bought a cute stove, some kitchen stuff and chairs in a recycle store called Góði Hirðirinn and these little things did a whole lot.
Next step will be to fix the garden and paint the house on the outside.

One of our readers told us about this beautiful nursery room her friend has been preparing.
They live in the US and have done such a lovely work while waiting for the big day.
They have been gathering things, some from their own childhood, and mixing with new ones which I think gives the room a comfortable atmosphere.

Now it is your turn to set the architect inside you free.
This form of a house with no outer walls or a roof can be pretty uncomfortable in the real live but when you are a doll or someone who plays with dolls this is actually the perfect house. It's easy to fit furniture or figurines into every nook and the rooms have no boundaries.
After finishing one house I can imagine you might be inspired to make some more. Perhaps a hairdresser and a bakery is missing in the neighborhood?
All you need is cardboard sheets or a foam-core (for more solid one) and wallpapers.
The wallpaper is easily applied to the wall with spray glue and is essential to make each house special.

Today we are having a giveaway!
We came across these fun paper dolls and wanted to tell you a little bit about the paper doll family.
The creatures are colorful and cute and have this unusual adventurous look that make them so attractive.
The designer Sigrún Einarsdóttir wants to challenge the child's imagination and believes that these bright and happy dolls can play a big role in starting a fairy tale by showing us that creativity has no boundaries and we are all unique and colorful in our own fun way.
Cooldesign.is an e-shop with products by the designer Sigrún Einarsdóttir who graduated from Parson School of Design in Paris.
