This cute apartment in Gothenburg is currently for sale though Stadshem. I like how the estate agency photographe the apartment so you almost feel like the furnitures will be included with the package. 

This is a beautiful home with wood panelled walls and floors, mixed with new design furnitures and vintage finds.

0 Beautiful home

Most of us love to peak into a beautiful home and see how people choose and arrange things around their house in differently. We are curious and love to have some new ideas on how to make your home a better one in many sorts of ways.

This home, from the Magazine La Maison, I find to be very casual and comfy but yet very beautiful and stylish. In my opinion the white "cold" furnitures and the warm brown teak are in perfect balance. 

The color's chosen are also very neat and the light green chair is my favorite one.

0 My CPH home

I'm living with a good friend in a small and cozy apartment in Copenhagen for the next four months. We have settled in with some of our belongings and added some things from flea markets around the town. 

It can be a bit tempting being here around all the beautiful design and cool stores but If I manage to spend my money wisely I can hopefully buy something nice in memory of this wonderful time.

We just love it here!

Do you have a wish-list of things or design that you dream of having one day?

I have a wish-list like that and one of the things on my list is a sofa called Poeten designed in 1941 of the great danish architect and designer Finn Juhl.
Nowadays his home is open for visitors, which he designed in 1941.

We where invited to a cozy garden in Reykjavík. The lady of the house has planted lovely tulips in pink and yellow and some cherry blossom tree. The family enjoys gathering around for a brunch on the porch.

It's a rainy day and you have your favorite book and a warm tea.
Perfect!

This house is on a cliff at sea with nothing blocking the view.
The pool is amazing and it looks like the water will fall of the cliff's edge.
Not so baby proof but definitely breathtaking sitting in the pool watching the sunset.

5 Loft in 107 Reykjavík

This week we visited a young couple who live in a cozy loft in Reykjavík.
One of them is a visual artist who makes these very interesting paintings of children's emotions.
Their loft is about 20 sqm but they manage to make it very neat and comfy.

5 Home tour in Reykjavik.

This week's visit is to a lovely home in Reykjavik. The residences, a couple in their fifties, lived and studied in Sweden two decades ago. Even though their beautiful apartment isn't all that big it rooms a lot of nice things where every piece is eye-catching both by itself and as a part of the whole. This is probably not surprising given that an talented architect trained in planning, design and overseeing and influenced by the great Scandinavian designers, lives there.

One of our readers told us about this beautiful nursery room her friend has been preparing.
They live in the US and have done such a lovely work while waiting for the big day.
They have been gathering things, some from their own childhood, and mixing with new ones which I think gives the room a comfortable atmosphere.

The residences, a lovely young couple have gathered all sorts of beautiful things from the early years of last century. Most of the things are gifts from family and friends but some a treasure, found at a second hand store or eBay and bought dirt cheap.

0 A small apartment in Reykjavik

This week we visited a young couple in Reykjavík. The residents are both multimedia designers and live and breathe in a creative environment. They recently bought this 70 sqm basement and showed us the improvements they've made. One of the biggest changes they made was enlarging the door opening to the garden and put a window on the wall between the kitchen and the living room allowing more light to reach the kitchen.

The atmosphere is very warm and it is obvious that every object is carefully chosen.

 We were invited to a lovely home of a young tailor living in the heart of Reykjavík.
The home reflects her life pretty well and in just few minutes you feel like you know her.
A collection of old frames she painted white holds all her beloved in one place and the world map which is fitted to a cork has red pins that show all the places she has visited.
