1 Test tube vase

This idea using test tubes as a vase is just fantastic. You can definitely find these in some stores, in vintage market or if you are lucky, ask a friend (who is a pharmacist or a scientist) if he or she is getting rid of some old test tubes. I need to find me some of those :)

0 Before and After

When I was little I used to play in this cute hut beside my parents summerhouse. For many years it have been used as a storage because there were no children to play in it. Now time has changed with our own children so me and my siblings decided to fresh it up a little bit. I bought a cute stove, some kitchen stuff and chairs in a recycle store called Góði Hirðirinn and these little things did a whole lot.
Next step will be to fix the garden and paint the house on the outside.

A good friend of mine went to a flea marked and got herself some nice old rococo chairs. 

She redid them in her own wild-ish way and chose a yellow mustard frame around a frisky figured cushion that definitely gives the old a new and joyous look.

0 New kitchen for small sum of money

We are still renovating!

If you are tired of your old and live-less kitchen and want a new one that can't cost a thing this work here can definitely be imitated. 

Colors and pattern is the magic and with only a slight change it looks like a new kitchen. 

The black and white tartan floor tiles makes the big difference the turquoise colored cabinets and the yellow wall add some extra fun and happiness to it, in my opinion.

We like it when some encouraging words put on the wall as an inspiration and when letters are used for an educational reson in children's room.

This here is something else. The letters hanging on the wall are painted in the same color as the wall and gives this cool graphic dimensions.
