3 Santa Clause is coming tonight

Iceland has a Christmas tradition all of its own.
A scary hag called Grýla lives in the mountain and has 13 sons. During the Advent each of them comes down from the mountain, one a day, until Christmas Eve. These 13 lads, so called Santa Clauses, give every well-behaved child a small gift in it's shoe that is placed on a windowsill in every house from the 11th of December until the 24th. These 13 gifts can be a little tricky for Santa's helpers so we decided to mention a few that make the small ones very happy.

Tiger: watercolors, yatzy, whoopee cushion, owl, moneybox, pearls, book and pencil, world lamp.
Lirumlarumlej.dk: card-holder, food toys
Toys'rus: Hama beads, barbapapa, lego minifigures, schleich small animals
IKEA: finger-dolls.

15. December

The Icelandic design conpany Hring eftir hring is best known for their beautiful floral jewelries inspired by "the first leaves of spring". Today they are giving someone lucky the Do Do Dove ring from their latest collection "Tea Party collection " based on characters and scenes from the timeless story of Alice in Wonderland. The ring was made in collaboration with Gull og silfursmiðjan Erna and a group of dental technicians. The dove is handmade of Circonium and is processed similar ways that teeth are and is almost unbreakable.....like diamond!
