I bought this dresser in an vintage store. It needed some renovation so I got it for fairly reasonable price. It had a dark red painting on and since I wanted it lighter I bought a thinner for getting the painting off. I started rubbing it off and it was easier than I expected. Next I polished it with a sandpaper to get the teak wood back and at last I applied some teak oil to get the original look.
I couldn't believe it - it looked like new!
